Hope and Resistance for Migrants and Refugees in Mexico and Germany – Online exchange

We invite you to a meeting space with activists, organizations, and refugees from Mexico and Germany to share experiences, strategies, and struggles related to migration. We want to hear voices and proposals that inspire us to build networks of trust, dignity, and hope together.

Wednesday, 10th of September, 18-20 PM Berlin (10-12 PM Mexico City) / Online – via Zoom

  • How have the political context and societal perception of migration changed in Mexico and Germany?
  • What collective networks support and empower migrants and refugees in these cities?
  • What spaces of participation have migrants and asylum seekers created to connect and develop action approaches for their communities and others?

This meeting brings together activists, social organizations, and refugees from Mexico and Germany to discuss the protection of rights and the power of collective networks. We aim to make visible strategies of support and create spaces of trust that honor the experiences of those who have sought protection – thus strengthening hope and collective action.
