The Berlin-Jakarta tandem focuses on strengthening civil society collaboration between Berlin and Jakarta through the partnership of Berlin-based Watch Indonesia! and Indonesia’s WALHI (Wahana Lingkungan Hidup Indonesia)

The Sister Cities in Action pilot project aims to strengthen Berlin’s long-standing city partnerships with Jakarta, Mexico City and Windhoek at a civil society level.

The Afrika-Rat Berlin Brandenburg and the Creative Industry Institute Africa foster together the exchange between civil society actors and the creative sectors in Berlin and Windhoek.

México vía Berlín and Casa Tochan connect social actors from both cities to address community-led initiatives focused on migration, human rights, civic engagement, and urban sustainability.
